Neighborhood Electric was courteous and understanding from the very beginning. They did not beat around the bush. After you explain the problem you are having , they gave you a pretty good picture of what you are up against in terms of value and cost associated with it. Price was very reasonable for job done and by the way , no service charge. More importantly, you are treated with respect. I am a happy customer.
If you need an electrician please call Lenny at Neighborhood Electric!! I was having an electrical issue with my brand new dryer and called around - many did not want to come out to a home visit and some wanted to charge $150 just to look at it! Not only did Lenny fix the issue but he checked to make sure my panel wiring was good and he explained everything he did for a way more reasonable fee than others quoted! He even caught a violation on my dryer cord that should have been installed differently by GE and fixed it without charging me. He’s also Licensed and Insured! If you want/need an honest, reliable electrician he’s definitely the guy to call!!
I lost my heat and had a partial power outage due to electrical issues I was experiencing in my house. I decided to call Neighborhood Electric and Lenny came the very next day. He was able to get my heat/electricity going until his crew came a few days later to fix the main electrical issues I was experiencing. The job was completed in a few hours and my electrical issues have been resolved. Lenny was a gentleman and his crew did a great job.
I called Neighborhood Electric the other day while we were in the middle of a horrible wind and rain storm. I found the company’s ad in one of the local newspapers. Our lights were flickering and there was a smell of smoke coming from our electrical panel. The owner Lenny answered my call. I explained my situation and he said he would have an electrician at my home within a half hour. The tech showed up promptly, assessed my problem, and informed me as to the work that needed to be done. It was a very dangerous situation. The tech then proceeded to disconnect my home from the grid for safety reasons. After agreeing on a price for the repair he informed me that a crew would return by 7:30 the following morning. They arrived as promised and completed the repair in an extremely expeditious manner. The entire experience was worth a glowing review. The electricians where professional, very knowledgeable and exceptionally neat. Their work was impeccable. I received a phone call from Lenny after the job was completed asking me if everything went well and to thank me for the business. Seriously, what more could anyone want. I have zero issues and only praises for this company. I highly recommend them for any job large or small.
Working with Lenny and his crew at Neighborhood Electric was a great experience. The team, Joe Nick and Mike were on time this morning with everything they needed to take on the project of: updating the electrical system to 200AMPS, installing a new meter outside, installing a new panel inside with new breakers and repairing service to my house- all on Christmas Eve. They cleaned up after their work, and all the while explained what was getting done I’m glad I took a chance and called a new company, Neighborhood took care of our problems quickly and accurately with minimal drywall damage and an excellent payment plan available. We recently purchased a swim spa, and needed upgrades to our electrical system to power it (conversion from 100 to 200 amp service, installing a 50 amp box in the garage and a dedicated breaker box outside - along with fixing all the non-functioning outlets/installing more outlets and light fixtures). From day one, Lenny and the team from Neighborhood Electric were professional, punctual, and performed quality work. Everything was explained clearly with regard to the process and its anticipated (very reasonable) timetable. We were very satisfied with the end result, and would absolutely recommend them to anyone who needs any electrical work performed in/around their home.
Lenny and his crew are professional, accommodating, polite, clean, and lightening fast! They helped change out a whole circuit panel and exterior wiring in an emergency. It was a difficult situation and I could not be in NY at the time of the repair. They were able to step up and get it done! Quickly and safely! Did a 200amp service upgrade, excellent job, and very professional.
Lenny and his team are top notch!! The crew came out and did a complete panel replacement, ran some new lines, and a pipe to carry the wires. Everything was done to highest quality and with friendly, helpful approach by explaining everything carefully! The team made a huge extra effort to avoid putting any holes in my sheet rock - one of the crew went into the very tight crawl space to make that happen!! The price was very fair - and terms of payment better than I expected!! I would highly recommend this team and will work with them again.

The guys were great , the ran a line from My breaker panel to my gazebo. They wired the new gazebo and put new switches and outlets and lighting. The crew was great I would definitely refer them

I found Neighborhood electric on Google. The owner responded immediately and sent a crew to give me an estimate on extending a 240 line into my garage for a charging station for my Tesla. Super professional. Great crew. Always followed up and did an awesome job. I would recommend them to anybody.Price was more than reasonable in today’s world.
Lenny was a pleasure to work with. He was personable, informative, and easy to talk to. I called off hours due to a major electrical problem and they were there first thing the next morning to address the issue. I was experiencing electrical problems in my kitchen, living room and dining room. I called LENNY from Neighborhood Electric and he immediately came. He looked around did some testing. I googled a local electrician and called their number. I got their voicemail and didn't leave a message, but Lenny called me back within minutes! Our breaker box wasn't working, we had no electricity. Within 20 minutes Rob arrived. He was very professional, really nice man! He told us everything has to be replaced, but he got us up and running until they could come and get everything replaced. I had a question the next day, Lenny called me back immediately. He answered all of my questions in a way that made me know we had chosen the right electricians. They are now in my contacts, any electrical needs we have, they are the ONLY electricians I will call. Will recommend to all of my friends.
Neighborhood electric came by because I was having some electrical issues. VERY friendly guys from start to finish. They were very thorough and knowledgeable! They had replaced my electrical service and upgraded us to 200 amps and had ran dedicated lines throughout the house. I will be using them again ! HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Thank you so much !
They took out wall panels..ran a new dryer line ..when I had some issue they came back the same day ... they even cleaned up ... I would recommend them to everyone... so I give them a 5 star..
I lost power today and needed to get it back up as quick as possible. I found Neighborhood Electric and requested a quote online and Lenny gave me a call within minutes. He helped me out with my electrical panel and got my power back up and running fast! I would highly recommend these guys to anyone.
I had some work done to my home. Unfortunately there was Incident that took place knocking pretty much all my outlets in my home out Some were restored and some were not. I placed a phone call I was called immediately the next day I had an appointment they came over reviewed everything and pretty much told me that I needed repairs for safety reasons. I was completely unaware of the problem and now I'm on the right track. I'm very happy with the cost and everything was explained and was told If I wanted to omit something it was my decision. I called Neighborhood Electric when my garage outlets didn’t work. After about two weeks or so they were able to come by and check it out. It turns out I needed a new breaker and panel as well. The work was scheduled for about three weeks after that. They arrived on time and completed it the same day. Everything looks and works great.

Excellent job! I own and electric car and called Lenny for an estimate. So when Mike got here there was a big issue with my electricity. He ended replacing everything from the wires that comes from the street to the outside panel and pipes and replacing the outdated electric panel I had for a new one based on the codes and regulations. Mike also installed my Class 2 EV car charger outside the house. Excellent service and professionalism.... My opinion is that we should not mess around with electricity in our homes.. Now I can sleep well thinking that everything is the way it should be...Lenny and Mike, thanks again! Great job!
I had neighborhood electric at my house ... they replaced a few ceiling fans some outlets and switches . They also upgraded my electric service replaced my panel and meter box. They did a great job and would definitely use them again
